Faurecia Interiors is looking for a Plant Launch Team Leader for its plant in Pretoria, South Africa.

The Plant Launch Team Leader is responsible for planning, coordinating and controlling new business enquiries, new product introductions, engineering changes and equipment/facilities changes to Company, Business Group and Quality procedures. The main missions of the role are to:
Implementation of Project reference and reporting structure.
Coordinate PMS activities.
Project reporting.
Project handover to customer.
Control of project budget.
The ideal candidate will have/be:

Minimum bachelor's degree in Industrial/ Mechanical Engineering; and atleast 3 years previous experience in a similar position, preferably within the Automotive Industry.
Excellent analytical, problem solving, decision making and communication skills
Thorough knowledge of engineering techniques associated with project management
Must be capable of working with a wide variety of people from the shop floor to senior managers, vendors, suppliers and customers
Minimum of two (2) years of automotive experience
Excellent computer, numeracy and communication skills.
Proven competence in MS Projects essential (AutoCAD would be an advantage)
Work overtime when required.
Ability to speak, write and read the English language.
