Job Description - Warehouse Operative – picker / packer
Temporary seasonal contract – 40 hours per week
Working under the day to day control of the Warehouse Supervisor, we are looking for
an engaging and enthusiastic Warehouse picker / packer, who will assist in the day to
day picking, packing and warehouse tasks during our peak season September –
December.
Role and responsibilities: -
Day to day tasks including but not limited to:
 Picking and packing tasks
 Assist in compiling daily reports
 Keep the management informed of any problems
 Working as a team member
 Attention to detail when completing tasks
 Ensure you play a part in ensuring a safe working environment

 Booking in deliveries and keeping the warehouse organised
 Working to quality standards

Skills and experience: -

 Self-Motivated and disciplined
 Excellent communication skills in English
 Warehouse experience
 Computer Literate
 Must be able to lift and move boxes of up to 20Kg
The person must also demonstrate the following personal attributes:
 be honest and trustworthy
 be respectful

This is a temporary, 40 hour a week, contract from running from 1st September 2018 –
18th December 2018.
Hours are Monday to Friday 9am – 5.30pm.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Salary: R7,000.00 to R9,000.00 /month
