Technical Consultant PRM-ACI Worldwide

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is for a Technical Consultant for PRM within the Post Implementation Experience Team.
Ensures new and existing ACI customers receive a first class delivery service in accordance with customer expectations and contractual agreements. Primarily responsible for the identification/development of solutions for customers using company products, outsourced solutions and/or proprietary tools/techniques implemented by others. Defines customer needs and develops a plan and proposal for delivery of the project. Viewed by customers as a consultant. Performance is typically evaluated based on utilization, (i.e., billable hours).

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Understand and Adhere to all Corporate Policies to include but not limited to ACI Code of Ethics and Global Information Security.
Analyzes client’s business needs, integrates client’s business strategies and recommends appropriate information technology solutions utilizing ACI’s methodologies. Conducts analysis of corporate objectives, business functions and processes. Fully understands the customer’s functional and technical requirements and is involved in the specification of these.
Provides analysis, consultation and advice to project delivery associates on all technical aspects of the engagement. Recommends and implements process improvements.
Supports the regional/product’s business development and sales support efforts for a particular territory, industry or account.
Assists customer with implementation efforts as necessary to ensure successful product adoption.
Anticipates the implications and consequences of risks or business situations and take appropriate action to prepare for possible mitigation actions and or contingencies. Identifies information needed to clarify a risk or business situation, seeks that information from appropriate sources and uses skillful questioning to draw out the information.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Platforms: Windows/AIX/Linux
Database: SQL/Oracle
Middleware: Websphere/Tomcat/Jboss
Programming Language: Java
Tools: SQL Server Management Studio/SQL Developer/Toad/Eclipse
Experience: 3-5 years in IT
Experience in Payment industry
Experience in SQL Scripting
Knowledge in ISO-8583 message format preferred
Application knowledge related to Transaction Processing Switch/Payment Gateway/ Internet Banking/Mobile Banking etc.
Experience in Production Support for Payment systems/Banking Applications
Experience in Fraud/Risk Domain would be an added advantage
