Job Description
The office administrator is responsible for general office administration within the organisation. The incumbent is expected to be a team player, and use high levels of initiative, to ensure that the general office is effective and efficient. Strong administration and planning skills and, accountability are essential strengths.

Key Performance Areas

Liaise with existing departments, to ensure they have the required office resources;
Arrange travel and subsistence, as required;
Perform monthly administrative duties ensuring that secretarial duties, financial obligations and office responsibilities are met, and written reports submitted;
Liaise with relevant service providers, to ensure office and marketing tasks are completed, and
Oversee facilities administration.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Grade 12
Office Administration Certificate
Tertiary Diploma / Degree in Management, Business administration or equivalent (advantageous)
Must have 5 – 7 years office Management experience with a strong background of Marketing & Sales and General office Administration
Strong communication skills both written and verbal, emotional intelligence, assertiveness, analytical skills, fluent in English, neatness and attention to detail and the ability to work independently and in a team
Ability to work under pressure, work with little supervision, must be a self- starter, ability to manage stress, goal and results driven, effective time management, telephone and office etiquette are essential
Knowledge of: *
*MS Word -Intermediate
MS Excel – Advanced
MS Outlook – Intermediate
PowerPoint – Intermediate

Social Media Platforms
Bulk emailing Systems e.g. Mail Chimp

A*dvantageous:
*Office Administrator in the NPO sector.
Database administrator
