About the Position

An international company is looking for a Planner to head their planning division. This is an excellent position for an individual looking for the opportunity to start their own planning division in the international space
Job & Company Description:


Obtain the project detail and scope of work for each project
Managing the performing baseline schedule and controls in line with all programme requirements
Interface with the project technical staff
Identify and analyse associated schedules, resource conflicts and potential cost impacts and issues
Participate in preparation of project close out report
Monitor site/construction progress documents
Assist with the preparation of inspection reports, preparing final accounts and classification and arrangement of all documents pertaining to the projects
Monitor the project process with modern methods, updating construction costs etc

Lead, facilitate and plan personal and professional development of planning staff thorough annual reviews as well as mentoring of staff on an ongoing basis



Education:


Technical / Project Management Diploma
Planning course or qualification
Primavera P6 Advanced
Familiar with P6 version 13 to 15
P6 Administrator
Primavera Risk Analysis Course
AutoCad modelling

Job Experience & Skills Required:

More than 12 years Project experience in a major project environment
Experience in a construction environment
Advanced computer literacy
PMO/PMU experience within a EPC environment (minimum 5 years)
Experience in integrating change management, procurement and contractual matters into schedules
Management experience
Experience planning large projects simultaneously
Traveling will be required
