FACTORY PLANNER/BUYER

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager , the successful incumbent will be part of the factory planning team of the Babelegi site, as well backing up his/her production planning colleagues for the factory.

Key Responsibilities :
DPS
Create feasible detail production plan taking into account capacity constraints for material, packing and processing.
Continuously improving planning method targeting full pull-planning.
Follow-up daily production schedule via DOR meetings and update planning if necessary.
MRP
Run MRP calculation, ensure availability of R±, resolve the issues with suppliers for deliveries
Ensure optimum stock levels for R±(usage of RPIO)
Manage packaging orders for receiver markets (domestic & IMS)

Follow-up blocked & obsolete materials, freshness of materials, take actions for to prevent write-off due to shelf life problems,
Follow-up corrective actions with suppliers to match quality standards
Prepare destruction forms when necessary
Maintain necessary master data and follow up workflows in the system for semi finished and R±Operational Buyer
Manage call-offs for materials required
Resolve the issues related to blocked, parked invoices for quantity related problems, clear PO

Key Requirements:

Minimum National Diploma in Supply Chain, Procurement or Supply Chain or Similar.
Minimum 3 - 5 years’ work experience in Supply chain, Planning, Purchasing or Procurement environment.
Good communication and leadership skills.
Very good analytical skills.
