RESPONSIBILTIES

Warehouse / Inventory Management

Ensure all inventory items acquired are warehoused in accordance with industry best practise

Ensure accurate record keeping of all stock / inventory movements always

Conduct suitable ad-hoc and pre-scheduled stock-takes to verify stock on hand. Address inventory variances in conjunction with role-players.

Ensure sufficient stock on hand in conjunction with relevant internal role-players.

Physical Security

Ensure warehouse is secure and all stock is maintained in a secure facility to avoid any inventory losses due to theft, or the like.

Ensure the physical security of the premises at all times

Policies and Procedures / Governance

Ensure that suitable governance processes are applied to limit / avoid the loss of inventory items.

Ensure compliance and comply with all company policies and procedures ensuring suitable and applicable governance regarding warehouse and inventory management.

Maintenance and support of the premises

See to the proper maintenance and overall cleanliness of the facility (warehouse and assets) in conjunction / with the assistance of Facilities and the Landlord.

Landed Cost Management

Participate to ensure that where and if applicable correct landed cost is captured on the ERP modules in accordance with the predetermined processes.

Customer Satisfaction

Manage staff deliverables to achieve departmental objectives.

Manage departmental deliverables to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction by delivery the correct and required products on time.

Manage reverse logistics in conjunction with key Suppliers / OEMs and internal role players

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Matric

Degree/Diploma/Higher Diploma in Logistics, Distribution and Warehouse Management or equivalent (advantage

Highly Computer literate and a particularly good knowledge of Excel and Databases
