Title: Stock controller - Workshop Representative

Key Responsibilities
Stock control using the Central Asset Management system (CAM) of all metering (Unitam 3, Unitam Classic and TVM5) equipment and accessories in the workshop and storeroom.

To ensure all equipment is immediately updated in CAM as the physical movement takes place, accuracy in CAM is critical.

Updating serial number information in the Pollux system.

 

 
Physical placement of equipment in allocated locations in the workshop/storeroom to correct identification equipment and statuses.

Supporting Field personnel with stock. Stock order requests received from field technicians requires priority. Reaction and turnaround time is critical to the business, dispatching of equipment to field must be timely.

Dispatching all resources to field personnel using the courier services (RAM or Dawn Wing). This includes metering equipment, documentation, gift cards, company vehicle documents, ETC.

Tracking/control (whom stock is allocated too) sheets must be kept for every dispatch.

Quality and cleanliness of all equipment being dispatched is required.

Maintaining availability of stock in the storeroom for dispatching to the Field personnel

Orders to be placed with suppliers for all locally purchased consumable items when storeroom stock levels are running low.

Maintenance: Cleaning of the workshop/storeroom must be maintained daily for health and safety.

Include comprehensive assistance to Field Personnel.

Assist manager with ad hoc requests.

Collaborate closely with manager to resolve stock issues.

Act on any problems that occur in the Workshop by either resolving the issue or referring back to the Manager, related to stock management.

Build positive relationships with internal and external members by providing outstanding and excellent services.

Lead to client (field technicians) satisfaction.

Displaying a high level of professionalism.

Adhere to internal procedures.

Working Relationship
External Contact: Suppliers, Courier companies

Internal Contact: Field Technicians, TAM Technical Experts, Regional chief Technician, Technical support, Workshop Manager, Stock Controller, Panel QC Department. Councilors.
