Painter

Purpose of the Job


To perform efficient and high standard painting of aircraft as determined by company and industry standards.



Key Responsibilities
Ensure effective aircraft/propeller/component refurbishment
Manage and control workflow processes
Control tools, equipment, parts and consumables
Control subcontractors
General house-keeping practices
Carry out all additional tasks related to audit and planning processes

Assist with all ad hoc duties as assigned by the relevant manager

Requirements


Education

Grade 12
Experience

2 Years’ experience as a qualified aircraft painter (Aircraft refurbishment and painting
Other Requirements

Ability to work overtime and travelling (away base maintenance may be required) Engineer
Valid drivers license and own reliable transport
Valid passport

High levels of responsibility
Professional approach towards allocated duties
Self-disciplined and stress tolerant
Systematic and well organized
Ability to adapt (being flexible) to working conditions
Ability to work independently and within a team
Ability to cope with large volumes of work
