Shift Technician x4 (Fixed Term Contract)-Heineken

Purpose of Role

Responsible for maintenance and troubleshooting of any equipment malfunctions, in order to ensure efficient and effective achievement of the packaging objectives on productivity, cost, quality, safety and morale

Key Result Areas

Quick resolution of plant breakdowns and minor stoppages,
Analyse breakdowns and minor stops that occur on the lines during shift,
Perform engineering administration related to downtime booking, tagging, de-tagging and spares reservation using the company’s maintenance management and performance monitoring systems,
Proactive inspection of plant and equipment including monitoring of production processes to ensure superior line performance,
Execute preventative maintenance programme for the plant and equipment,
Comply with safety regulations when performing all functions,
Coach operational personnel on maintenance and engineering aspects of assigned area of responsibility,
Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives in the plant in line with our TPM agenda.

Trade tested Millwright with N6
Minimum 3-5 years’ work experience as a Millwright in FMCG or beverage manufacturing environment is essential.
Experience in preventative maintenance systems and applying troubleshooting methods essential
Knowledge of PLC (Siemens) and Drives
Ability to read and Interpret Machine Drawings and Process Layout required
