Purpose of the position
We are looking for a high-performing Sales Administrator. The successful candidate will meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives through selling drone engineering trainings, workshops and school children drone camps. The ideal person in this role should have at least 1 year minimum previous sales/training experience ideally working with individuals, corporates, government and NPOs. In addition, the Sales Administrator is responsible for overseeing all sales activities of the company including all inbound and outbound sales, developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans. The duties will include successful execution of the strategies to achieve financial targets, building relationships with customers, and understanding the growing drone market. The Sales Administrator will establish, maintain, develop and lead our sales activities.
Experience & Qualifications
1 year minimum previous experience successfully promoting sales activities ideally working with individuals, corporates, government and NPOs.
Professional sales training would be a strong advantage.
Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth in a business.
Strong leadership skills and an ability to inspire.
Excellence in verbal and written communication in English.
Sales/Marketing qualification.
Passion for technology.
Key Performance Areas
We will expect you to challenge yourself, and will give you as much rope as you're prepared to accept. At the outset, your duties would include the following:
Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
Own and hit/exceed annual sales targets for all agreed product formats, and set individual activity and revenue targets for members of the Sales team (and ensure they outperform them)
Report on results against agreed budgets and strategic direction of company sales.
Report on sales performance against budget and on variances on a monthly basis
Lead, motivate and drive the company Sales activities.
Identify key areas for improvement in the sales process.
Develop scripts, emails and other sales tools.
Spot market opportunities for new customers
Effectively communicate companyβs offerings value proposition through proposals and presentations.
Demonstrate awareness of the drone market, the competitor landscape and related industry trends.
Act as a spokesperson for the brand at career fairs and relevant conferences; attend conferences and industry networking events
Identify opportunities for campaigns, services and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales.
Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the companyβs unique selling propositions and differentiators.
