Regional Warehouse and Stock Controller

Our client, a well-established multinational industrial manufacturing company, is looking for a Regional Warehouse and Stock Controller for South Africa and their African territories. This person will be responsible for the functional management and development of all warehouse and stock control staff in the region. There are 12 employees reporting directly to this position, with a shared responsibility in managing a wider group of employees. The position involves extensive travel in South Africa and other African territories where the company operates.
Main responsibilities:

The ongoing development, implementation and management of the Warehouse and Stock strategy for the company

Continuous improvement of Warehouse strategies in line with financial and efficiency targets

Audits of the warehouses

Stock control, stock planning and stock takes

Document control related to stock movement

Management and control of capital equipment, tools & vehicles

Staff development



Salary is R30 – 35 000 CTC per month, negotiable on experience. The company offers medical aid and pension fund.

Minimum requirements

Matric

Relevant tertiary qualification in Warehousing/Stock Planning/Logistics Management

Strong ability to lead and motivate team

Sound financial and technical background

Minimum 5 years’ experience in Warehousing

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a management function

Medical aid, pension fund
