Public Relations Officer

Job description
The role of public relations specialist is created to support the growth of the company and to ensure a sound and vibrant communications platform that expands that growth.
Copywriting of a minimum of four press releases per month and / or media communications to promote the business;
Content development and management of Web and Social Media Platforms
Update and maintain content posted on the Web and Social Media platforms;
Prepare or edit organisational publications such as employee newsletters, for both internal and external audiences;
Coordinate media interviews;
Send releases to press;
Prepare monthly reports and clippings;
Respond to requests for information from the media or designate an appropriate spokesperson or information source

Requirements
Copywriting - writing with appropriate consideration for the selected audience;
Time Management - effectively managing the work demands, prioritising work according to business needs, in the face of varying levels of work pressure;
Communications and Media - Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods, including alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral and visual media;
English Language - Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language;
Minimum three years' relevant PR and / or Communications expereince in a corporate environment;
Degree in Public Relations or Communications.
