We are looking for a driven Digital Account Manager to join our small but growing team in our Jo'burg branch. You will have a good understanding of working across digital channels including PPC, SEO, and Display. With the client relationship at the top of the agenda, you will be driven by delivering high-quality work. You'll also be working alongside other creative, talented minds to liaise with some of the agency's most valued clients from day one. The role requires someone who is proven in working on digital campaigns for an impressive portfolio of clients. This means being at the cutting edge of digital with the ability to continually add value to a clients' proposition.

An ideal candidate for this role will have a solid grounding within digital and an ability to think beyond the 'normal' way of doing things. More than that, you will have the ability to challenge 'the norm' and add positively to longstanding relationships. Strong communication skills are a must, with an inherent ability to develop strong working relationships both internally and with your well-established clients. As the digital account manager for Sprout, you will be responsible for the following:
Accountable for all client communications and managing expectations on all existing accounts
Responsible for getting IOs signed off and agreement on campaign objectives
Educating clients on Sprout Performance’s philosophy of performance media buying
Sources reports and campaign insights from campaign managers and send to the appropriate client contact on a weekly and monthly basis

 

 
Collaborates with clients and campaign managers on strategy and planning
Briefs in new media campaigns to campaign managers and collaborates with campaign managers on the performance of current campaigns
Briefs in creative work to design team and project management
Managing the onboarding of new clients and presentation of onboarding roadmap and plan of action
Continual learning and research into best practice and tools associated with performance media
Responsible for correct billing and revenue reporting across your accounts on month-end
Seeks to upsell and grow revenue intake from clients
No cold calling or sales acquisition (new business on non-current accounts) required

In a nutshell: several high-end e-commerce brands are coming on board and Sprout Performance is looking to grow the account management team to service them. We are hiring ambitious individuals who want to shoot the lights out to ensure clients are well looked after.

Requirements
Qualification in marketing, business or similar.
Minimum of two years’ experience in a digital marketing or media agency in the role of account management/account executive (not media sales).
Experience in working with big brands.
Experience with Google Analytics, AdWords, and DoubleClick products is a bonus.
Strong account management skills; client oriented and highly motivated.
A people person – comfortable with collaboration and can build internal relationships with cross-functional teams (sales/consultants/ad operations/campaign managers/design).
Excellent organisational, and problem-solving/decision-making skill.
Solid understanding of the digital media and social media landscape.
Excellent command of the English language, both written and verbal.
Quality management.
Time management.
Strong administrative skills and presentation skills.
Intermediate computer skills on Google and Microsoft packages.
Emotional intelligence
