Junior Support Officer
This is an entry level position for a vibrant young candidate at CiMSO Business Solutions Africa. The position requires a candidate to prove themselves and building the required experience to prepare them in becoming a dedicated, qualified Support Officer within the company.
Remuneration:
Industry Related Base Salary
Ability to earn higher base and additional bonus
Primary Responsibilities:
Support Activities
Answering and fielding incoming phone calls, directing callers to the appropriate extensions
Creating and assigning service tickets
Preparing support connections

Communicating feedback to clientsImplementing resolved service tickets
Self-Development
Actively and continuous learning Cimso Software Suite of products and tools utilized
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks and results as needed.
Secondary Responsibilities:
Update customer database
Assist and send quotations to customers
Test software processes and replicate error reports
Personality Attributes
Strong, professional personality with friendly and positive attitude;
Effective performer in a high-pressure environment;
People's person capable of working in a team to achieve goals and targets;
Accurate with figures and attention to detail.
Required Skills
Intermediary computer skills, using Microsoft Windows, Office & Internet;
Strong, professional verbal & written communications skills in English & Afrikaans;
Effective prioritization, organizational & problem-solving skills;
Ability to do internet research.
Mobility Requirements:
Regularly travel to other cities and, eventually, other countries;
Be away from home for several weeks at a time;
Have reliable transport to and from office;
Do physically activities such as moving supplies and equipment;
Mount step ladders and work with tools such as screw drivers, wire crimpers etc.
Environmental Factors:
Occasional long hours using computer and telephone;
Operating in a busy, open area office with interruptions and meetings;
Performing accurate financial data entry associated with deadlines.
Educational Requirements:
Matric/Grade 12 certificate;
Any Hotel, Lodging, financial or business experience will be beneficial.
