GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Maximise sales that emanate from Inbound enquiries

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Academic institutions, pharmaceutical companies
Work within a laboratory/scientific environment
Work within an end user (manufacturing, processing, engineering, original equipment environment)
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Science degree/diploma
Plus: Marketing and/or Sales training (optional)
SPECIFIC DUTIES (BUT NOT LIMITED TO)

Inbound sales enquiries

Receive Inbound sales enquiries via telephone and e-mail
Respond appropriately to enquiries e.g. generate quotation, refer call to LTS etc.
Liaise with product managers for complicated quotations
Follow up on quotations

Schedule appropriate time each day to follow up on quotations issued
Diarise further follow up call if prospect is not available
Process orders

Process orders received via telephone and e-mail
Ensure that orders are expedited according to instructions and demands of the situation
Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

Work within a laboratory/scientific environment: 1 year (Preferred)
Academic institutions or pharmaceutical companies: 1 year (Preferred)
