An exciting, new opportunity is available, in Johannesburg, within one of the leading marketing agencies for a Digital Manager that will be involved in the design, artwork and marketing of the agency.
Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
Maintain the companyโ€™s social media presence across all digital channels.
Develop a distinct online presence by attracting high numbers of internet followers through social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram.
Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies.
Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
Utilise strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Working with the rest of the client team, help define the scope and recommended an approach for major digital projects for clients.
Play an advisory role on client engagements, serving as a digital strategy advisor to both account leads (internal) and clients (external).
Serve as a thought leader in aligning digital marketing strategy with a clientโ€™s business goals and objectives.
Drive high-level discussions on the role of digital within the total marketing ecosystem.
Working with the leaders of the client team, help convince clients of the value of digital marketing services to their business - help them define needs and potential solutions.

Effective use of research tools to define target audiences and optimise marketing and media plans.
Demonstrated expertise in online advertising, co-marketing/partnership programs and integrated campaigns.
Researching, identifying and compiling competitive insights to guide and optimise digital marketing efforts.
Creative ability and passionate interest in creating powerful digital marketing plans that meet client objectives.
Strong, effective business professional communication and client presentation skills; preferred previous experience in presenting to clients from an agency perspective.
Solid understanding of traditional marketing principles and how they apply to the digital medium.
Strong understanding of digital marketing and success factors.
Preferred five or more yearsโ€™ experience in client-centred, agency environment (i.e. fast-paced, client or brand-centric professional experiences).
Perform detailed evaluation of client business environment including customer needs, capabilities/assets, and competitive realities to identify unique market opportunities and threats.
Lead the design of insight-driven digital strategies from opportunity identification through to experience definition. Structure and present recommendations to senior client leadership for approval. Based at Melrose Arch Head office
Required Qualifications & Experience:

Degree / Diploma in Marketing
Experience with digital campaigns.
Exceptional writing skills.
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate.
Able to capture and build new audiences through social media. Advantageous
Experience with visual design is a massive bonus, or at least being able to execute under a designerโ€™s guidance (knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints).
Knowledge of website analytics tools will be a plus โ€“ i.e. Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends.
FinTech experience (or previous experience working for a start-up) is a huge plus, or at least an interest in evolving technology such as Artificial Intelligence, Chatbots etc.
