Do you enjoy getting those taste buds going with your flair for cuisine, making curries, stews, grills, pasta dishes, salads and platters etc? Then this is a great opportunity to share your food with 100's of people on a daily basis.
You will be required to keep tabs on food cost, waste and employee hours, doing your best to optimise profit; set daily and weekly cleaning schedules for the kitchen, hire, train and discipline employees and set work schedules; Manage and control department inventory, stock, pricing, merchandising, and other operational processes of the Deli Department to company standards. It is important to follow the Company sales and production planning standards and ensure that the deli department achieves the standards of performance outlined. As a leader you will be required to ensure all new department associates are supervised and receive proper training. Most importantly ensure the kitchen safety technique and health standards are adhered to.
Excellent management, organizational, problem solving and communication skills essential. The Deli Manager must have the ability to deal with irate customers and employee conflict in a professional manner.
