The world class uShaka Marine World, situated in Durban, South Africa, opened its turnstiles to the general public on April 30th 2004.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS ROLE:

Prepare and assist with table set up and set down;
Consistent up selling of products;
Maintaining excellent guest relations;
Abide by all policies and procedures of the company and its client;
To bank all company funds and float on your person prior to going off shift, remaining accountable for any shortages incurred whilst in possession of the float and/or company funds.


OTHER DUTIES

Dealing with any other F&B related issues;
Assist other departments when required;

Any other duties as requested by Management, within reason.
QUALIFICATIONS:



Matric/Grade 12;
Hospitality related qualification adv.


EXPERIENCE:

Minimum two years’ experience in the food and beverage industry


KNOWLEDGE:



Table service;
Vast knowledge in food and beverage products;
Up selling skills;
Recognizable skills in guest interaction.


SKILLS:



Guest service skills;
Organizational skills with initiative;
High level of mental alertness.
