To provide administrative support to the Trust Officer in accordance with the Trust Mandate & perform all other duties as reasonably assigned.
Accountabilities Include:
Opening of New Trust Accounts
Open and register New Trusts on the Trust/Beneficiary Fund System
Receive cheque from the Employee Benefit Fund and deposit the cheque
Open the Trust/Beneficiary fund file (hard copy) for record purposes
File source documents & print and laminate the Trust identity card for the clients
Prepare and mail the standard first letter to the client & reporting letter to SAR
Administrative Assistance to the Trust Officer
Receive, open and distribute all incoming mail to the respective Trust Officer
Write and mail cheques to the Beneficiaries/Institutions
Prepare debit orders to the Municipality, University etc.
Record and relay telephone messages, send proof of payments, photocopy documents & order stationary
Complete the necessary filing document according to the Trust Manual & hand to the responsible Trust Manager to sign-off β then file alphabetically
Essential/Basic Qualifications
Requirements:
NQF Level 4: Grade 12
Minimum 1 year experience in the Administrative environment
1 year experience in the Fiduciary environment (preferred advantage)
Computer Literate
No criminal record
