Warehouse /Logistics Manager FMCG Foods

Manage outsourced production and logistics, leading contract negotiations, ensure its implementation and performance follow up. Owns, controls and co-ordinates the operations and the production plans between its 3P Co-packers and logistics suppliers.
Implement, manage and enhance forecast to stock processes with 3P Co-packers (agreeing sourcing contracts, documenting operational manuals, defining sales order flows, agreeing production planning, transport, customer requirements)
Evaluate co-packer and logistics partners performance to ensure that standards are upheld and requirements are met
Set production and logistics KPI’s and regular follow-up (weekly and monthly) in order to measure performance
Management of the S&OP;implementation process and maintenance of its effectiveness along with Commercial department and 3P co-packer
Analyse, verify and improve the demand planning process and execute plan in conjunction with overall business vision
Monitor forecasts and identify trends and changes that will affect the supply chain
Improve co-packing and logistics suppliers terms and conditions to constantly drive efficiency and cost optimization
Support Customer Service and Commercial teams daily operations by providing information to enable an effective Order to Cash process (operational expertise, master data, process, stock management, transport, problem solving and complaints management)
Analyse logistics flows of goods and introduce cost saving initiatives and systems to ensure cost effective movement of goods whilst ensuring right level of customer service
Create inventory management policies and procedures in order to ensure efficient stocks management
Contributes to continuous improvement of processes by analyzing, resourcing allocation and productivity and proposing improvements in-conjunction with rest of the stakeholders and 3P co-packer and logistics partners whilst achieving KPI's, providing awareness of his/her areas of responsibility to management
Involved in NPD projects, supporting Marketing & Sales teams in the development of new products and coordinating implementation with 3P co-packers
Matric/Equivalent

Tertiery an advantage

Min 5 years senior management experience

FMCG essential. Beverages an Advantage
