About the Position

Main job purpose

To ensure that the Warehouse Management System and SAP are aligned at all time, to optimise the efficiency between the selling, ordering, dispatching and invoicing processes throughout the business with minimal delay, on a continuous basis and to manage and coordinate the activities of the warehouse to ensure effective and efficient service delivery to its customers.

Main Objective

To ensure that the Dispatcher System is updated monitored and synchronized to ensure that any delays in the ordering system are identified and minimise to ensure customer service delivery is maintained.
To timeously resolve and correct any Dispatcher issues to ensure that Dispatcher and SAP are aligned to optimise processing times and parts are available.
To ensure any SAP alignment issues are identified timeously and that super sessions adjustments are managed effectively to eliminate potential financial impact.
To ensure accurate and timeous reporting is done in line with requirements to facilitate identification of risk and business decision-making.
Ensure stock accuracy and effective control of stock through effective analysis and reporting to highlight and minimise risk.
To drive effective warehouse management to ensure the warehouse runs efficiently whilst delivery excellent customer service through continuous improvement and best practice implementation in warehouse management.

To ensure staff are effectively managed and held accountable through performance and disciplinary procedures, and that staff are developed and mentored through the talent management and IDP processes to drive capability in business.
To ensure effective procurement control of packing stock to meet the demands of the business and controlling costs.
Critical job requirements
Qualification(s)

Grade 12
Diploma in IT (infrastructure) / Supply Chain management (advantages)
Knowledge

Working knowledge of interface between systems
Knowledge of computer hardware and maintenance
Knowledge of Health & Safety in a warehousing environment essential/prof
Knowledge of SAP
Working knowledge of optimizing warehouse efficiency

5 years relevant warehouse/logistics experience
