UAT Testing Manager

The COMPANY is entering a new phase in its lifecycle where operational and commercial excellence has become critical for success.The Analyst General ledger function must therefore ensure the successful delivery in context of:



UAT Testing Manager will work to support all OpCo’s in the delivery of User Validation (UAT) testing project requirements for manual testing by end users. The role should evaluate individual solutions and formulate a test plan, test execution matrix, test resource requirements and identify test automation scenarios/requirements, to be automated by the IT Enablement Team

To standardize back office operations, improve business practices and streamline organizational functions for OpCo’s through implementation of standardized, end-to-end processes, with clear process ownership (for Finance, Enterprise Performance Management, Supply Chain Management and Human Resources) with definitive roles and responsibilities that eliminates redundancy and promotes efficiency

Ensure clean, consistent and accurate information, ultimately leading to streamlined management/financial reporting for Executive decision making

Implement, and support enabling back office technology across Group
Ensure compliance to set standards for process design, ERP integrations, report creation standards and ultimately pilot and full rollout.
Submit the level 5 and 6 RtR business processes for review and approval before submission to IT for development.
Chartered Accountant SA or similar required (e.g. CIMA)

Post Graduate Professional qualification will be an advantage.)


Experience:

5+ years consistent work experience covering similar functions in multinational telecommunication and manufacturing companies.
Minimum of 2 years GSM telecommunication experience is mandatory.
Design, Build and Execution experience within a Shared Services and Centre of Excellence operating model is required.
Demonstrated experience in transforming the RtR business process as part of large scale back office transformations.
Demonstrated experience with global or multinational projects/programmes.
An excellent understanding of modern end-to-end RtR practices.
Process redesign initiatives and ERP implementation project experience is desirable.
Demonstrated ability to effectively establish and maintain strategic working relationships with peers and constituents at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated analysis and problem-solving skills using critical and innovative thinking Desirable
Experience working for a Big-4 consultancy firm, preferably in the advisory services division;
Experience working for a financial services organization either in a technology, business intelligence, risk management or audit capacity;
Experience working for a large multi-national group organization within the group entity;
Experience working in a shared services environment
Competencies:

International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
International Accounting Regulations (Africa and Middle East).
International Tax Regulations (Africa and Middle East).
Financial compliance Reporting.
Cost and financial accounting.
Project expenditure policies, processes and procedures.
Internal and External Audit compliance.
Basic understanding of GSM operations.
Knowledge of telecommunications industry.
Knowledge of COMPANY Finance system.
Knowledge of project budget, planning, control and accounting principles.
Knowledge of project management methodologies.
Understanding of COMPANY transformation initiatives preferable.
