Our company is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Territory Manage to join our dynamic team.
Position Major Purpose
Develops and achieves marketing goals and objectives in a defined geographic area by developing the channel partners, promoting products and services offered by the Company and managing Company assets.
Position Major Duties
Ensure sales and market share goals are met. Sales could be direct or through dealers.
Counsels dealers on product, marketing, financial and/or management related matters.
Monitors dealer performance and takes corrective actions when results do not meet expectations.
Manages the contractual relationship, serves as a liaison and resolves issues between the dealer and the Company.
Manages Company assets to maximize return.
Communicates with other divisions/departments to maintain a good working relationship between dealers and the company to maximize enterprise objectives.
Delivers training to channel partners.
Dealer Development: Evaluate the quality of the dealers and help them put in place the necessary structural changes and processes with a view to improving the quality and performances of our network - Dealer Base Standards & DoT.
Sales Management: Establish and communicate dealer sales objectives, help the network to elaborate and deploy aligned Marketing Plans and motivate the dealers and sales teams on Branch sales and incentive programs β Dealer operational Objectives, ADBP, DAP, Marketing plans, Customer events etc.
Asset Management: In line with Deere guidelines, carry out in a timely fashion the necessary verification and follow-up controls in order to guarantee the protection of Deere & Co. assets. Asset verification as per Credit dept schedule and procedures.
Orders and Estimates Management: Supply up-to-date sales estimations on a monthly basis and constantly verify the level of orders placed by dealers to ensure alignment with Branch strategic objectives. Alignment and execution of Dealer orders with Sales and Requirement forecast.
Communication: Conduct a montly business meeting to coordinate, review and excecute scheduled sales and marketing activities, operational objectives, dealer development actions, training, product support, parts and general business issues
Requirements
Degree in a Marketing discipline or equivalent experience. Degree in an Agricultural Sciences discipline or equivalent experience. Degree in a Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience
3-5 years experience
