Dynamic, technology driven company has a need for a Technical Specialist / Network Engineer to provide technical expertise, identifying technology gaps and spearheading new technology within the organization.
Purpose of Role:

Security
Ownership of technology strategy and roadmap
Advise organization in technical direction
Guide the implementation and deployment of new technologies
Identify training needs based on new technology implementations
Engage with vendors regarding new technologies
Lead proof of concepts
Technology GAP analysis
Responsible for technical escalation within the team
Experience in Enterprise/Datacenter Technologies and Architecture
Network planning and design

Qualifications and Experience Required:

CCNP / CCIE
Minimum of 7 years within a networking role
Advanced skills in Perl / Python automation, IP routing, L2 and L3, VPN technologies, F5 technologies, WAN services acceleration and IP Services (DNS, CDN)
Exposure to routing protocols (BGP / ASPF)
Exposure to switching concepts (VLAN)
