Our client based in Fourways, Gauteng is looking to employ a Software Systems Engineer.



Be able to develop light weight software applications to support network automation, application deployment, business efficiency, customer service delivery and IT operations.
Have a grasp and understanding of various other programming languages such as PHP, C# .Net, NodeJS, HTML, Javascript, Jquery and CSS in order to provide advisory and management of information systems project delivery.
Integrate software development activities with a focus on the dev-ops framework based on lifecycle.
Software systems and automate the operations and interfaces between these systems.
Be involved in the first 4 stages of the 7 element dev-ops lifecycle, which entail: build, test, package and provision of
software applications and platforms.
Implement automated deployment of software and development environments using the following technologies:
Python & Django Ubuntu Jenkins Ansible Unix/Linux Git IPaaS JIRA Docker Kubernetes
Be technical lead for information systems within BSS and OSS stacks. Manage the project delivery process,
which entails :

Be system owner for specific systems and overseeing the full-stack operations of those systems.
Translating business requirements to technical requirements
Maintaining and developing enterprise architecture
Managing project delivery and consultant/vendor outputs.
Be able to maintain, compile and translate technical documentation such as functional requirement specifications,
business requirement specifications, interface control documents, architecture definitions, acceptance testing
specifications and requests for proposals.
Have understanding of general IT documentation best practices such as ITIL.
Software Development, Systems engineering applied to Application programming, DevOps and Automation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Preferably University Bachelors degree
BTech, MTech, IT, Computer Science, Computer/Electrical Engineering
Any other mathematical and engineering related educational background
3-6 years professional experience
Object-Oriented Software development
Passion for technology and innovation
