About the Position

SHEQ SUPERVISOR (Strictly Automotive Industry)- Rosslyn
R 25000 - R 33000 PER MONTH CTC

Automotive Component Manufacturing concern in Rosslyn is looking to employ Quality Supervisor with at least 5 years Sound experience in similar position.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Matric + Relevant Qualifications
3 - 5 years QMS experience, within the vehicle component manufacturing industry
Understanding and knowledge of Continuous Improvement project reporting systems
Computer literacy skills
Knowledge of ISO9001, VDA6, IATF 16949, OHSAS18001 and ISO14001 requirements

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Supervise and co-ordinate SHE activities within the company.
SHE internal audits, appointments and structure of SHE Committee, Training on SHE Policy and other requirements, control of SHE records and data, housekeeping, monitor/control of emergency equipment, co-ordinate SHE programmes.
Supervise the quality department in areas such as control of non-conformances, SAP 8D reporting, Gauges control, R&R studies, calibrations and verification of production equipment.
Sustaining the Integrated Quality Management Systems for SF including updating N5 system.
Compilation and co-ordination of corrective actions raised.
Co-ordinating corrective action meetings in all departments.
Manage annual audit schedule.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensuring that processes needed for the integrated quality management system are established, implemented and maintained.
Facilitate and maintain the requirements of the Integrated SHE System, OHS Act and SHE Policy of the company.
Ensure compliance with OHS and Environmental Legislation, including group or customer specific requirements and operating permits for special activities,
Reporting to senior management on the performance of SHE and quality department.
SAP updated for scrap cost, gauge control.
Ensure that the process owners and risk/opportunities are identified.
Ensuring that you assist on selecting special characteristics, setting of quality objectives and promotion of awareness of customer focus throughout the organization.
Compiling monthly SHE and quality reporting.
Ensure that the customer portal is excessed for reports such as customer score cards, corrective and preventive actions.
Reporting to senior management the integrated quality management system and any need for improvement.
Conduct process and product audit as per schedule.
Participation in KVP projects.
Assist in updating FMEA's and Control Plans, Work Instructions and line side documentation.
Attend MRB Meetings
Compilation and co-ordination of corrective actions raised.
Apply root cause analysis for non-conformances.
VALID DRIVER'S LICENCE WITH OWN TRANSPORT
