Purpose of the Role Capitec Bank is on the lookout for a dynamic, self-motivated team member sharing our passion for excellent client service. As a Service Consultant (Teller), you are required to deliver a quality front-line banking service to our clients within the branch by:
β’ consulting with clients
β’ gathering and capturing of information
β’ deposit-taking transactions
β’ new client take on procedures
β’ assisting clients with general banking related queries
Qualifications National Senior Certificate (Grade 12) (Essential)
3 year qualification; business or related (Preferred)
Experience Preference will be given to candidates with:
β’ Experience in the identification of sales leads and cross-selling opportunities
β’ Supervisory / first line management experience (includes acting management experience) is an added advantage
Knowledge and skills Knowledge and understanding of:
β’ Basic calculations
β’ Retail/consumer service environment
Competencies required:
β’ Passion for client service
β’ High energy levels and a sense of urgency
β’ Impact within a team environment (dynamic, articulate, has presence)
β’ Emotional maturity

β’ Flexible and mobile across regions is an advantage
β’ Must have fingerprints which are detectable / recognisable on Capitec Bankβs internal electronic banking system
