Sales - Petroleum Trading Specialist - Upper Highway Area

One of South Africa's leading company in the oil industry is seeking a Sales person to join their team as a Petroleum Trading Specialist, in Kloof. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the sale, marketing, transportation, supply, storage as well as the procurement of the petroleum products in line with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities will Include:

Participate in defining specification for petroleum products to be procured and identified as a supply source.
Prepare and implement a supply plan and schedule for procurement and supply of petroleum products.
Prepare and implement quality control measures for procurement and supply of petroleum products.
Assist logistical processes within the petroleum supply and distribution chain in liaison with relevant stakeholders.
Identify and engage with potential customers for bulk petroleum products and propose strategies for meeting their requirements.
Manage and Maintain Customer Relationships with the Key Accounts in your portfolio.
Attend to customer requirements and inquiries.
Maintain and update the CRM system daily
To visit your portfolio of customers as required.
To manage all correspondence to customers
Having a follow-up system to ensure all leads are continuous handled

Filling and general admin duties in the sales department
Knowing what your competitors are doing all the time
Researching and Updating the ‘Game Plan” for existing and potential customers
Assist with market surveys/research and carry out supply and demand analysis to inform management to procure and stocking of petroleum products.
Participate with the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies including promotions and new products’ development initiatives.
Requirements:

Degree (preferred) in Sales, Marketing or Relationship Management
Proficient in Office 365 - Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
At least 10 years’ experience in Sales, Key Account or Relationship Management preferably in the petroleum industry
