Our client, known for their trendy, designer workspace is looking for an outgoing, driven individual to take on the role of a Sales Assistant based in Rondebosch, Cape Town.
You will be joining a growing business, which provides Serviced Office Solutions to clients small and large.
The Opportunity awaits you
The “Sales Assistant” role is a two-fold responsibility role. The one aspect of the role is to support the Business Development Manager in ensuring that leads are dealt with efficiently and as per policy. The other aspect of the role is to handle and manage the marketing of our client’s brand.
Key responsibilities of the “Sales Assistant” are listed below, however are not limited to:
Assisting the BDM in his/her role by replying to enquiries, hosting viewings, sending quotes, drafting leases etc.
Update email system correctly with all correspondence (telephone, email, face to face discussions etc) each time there is a relevant change to the lead.
Regularly check emails and follow up on old leads.
Pitching services and new offers to potential clients.
Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person, within your given parameters
Draft lease agreements based on signed quotes and ensure the latest templates are used.
Follow the sales process laid out in the policy.
Pull reports on email and alert BDM of any inconsistencies.
Researching organisations and individuals online (especially on social media) to identify new leads and potential new markets

 

 
Cold Calling - Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport and set up meetings (cold calling)
Assist and educate centre management team on sales templates, policies procedure etc and ensure adherence.
Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing clients.
Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s workspaces
Identify innovative ways to supplement primary revenue – rental income.
Engage with the BDM to understand the annual targets.
Strategize with Senior Management on how to achieve sales budget targets.
Come up with new and innovative ways of selling the brand and drive these new strategies yourself.
Assist in the automation of the Virtual Office sales process.
Visit competitors’ locations and learn what they are doing. Compile SWOT analysis and develop a strategic plan based on this.
Attend & contribute to Operations & Senior Management meetings.
Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives in conjunction with the marketing manager and the website developer.
Attending sales conferences, meetings, and industry events.
Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person.
