The Role
Our successful candidate will be responsible for qualifying and nurturing marketing leads in order to drive sales. They will need to have an understanding of how to move prospects across the marketing conversion funnel (from awareness to purchase), and then the relevant skillset to execute on the same. Stamina, positive outlook and drive are an absolute must for the position, as is a strong sense of empathy for when dealing with clients.
As part of the role, you will be speaking to a wide range of companies and organizations βfrom universities and local government departments, to high- tech startups and top corporates. You will be responsible for reaching out to prospective clients, doing an introductory needs analysis, consulting with clients around their media coverage, and booking product demonstrations for our Inbound Sales Manager. The candidate should possess outstanding written ability and be able to craft compelling content across multiple digital mediums (LinkedIn, email, etc.) β as social selling will comprise a key pillar of the role.
You will be given all the necessary training and tools you will need to succeed in your role, and will be fully supported by the Cape Town team, to ensure that you are set up for success and that you earn valuable business experience.

Your qualifications / qualities
Strong academic results (particularly in English)
Sales experience (although not essential)
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Tertiary Media/Marketing degree / diploma
