THE BOARDROOM-REFRESHING RECRUITMENT seeks a skilled & experienced RESERVATIONS AGENT for our client, a 5* luxury hotel. If you meet the criteria below, then I would like to hear from you!

Minimum Experience or Qualification:

Grade 12 certificate; Diploma in Hotel Management would be advantageous

Must have at least 1 years hotel in a reservations position or 2 years experience in a reception position at a 4 or 5 star Hotel.

Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word and Excel

Experience at operator level of Property Management System – exposure to Opera advantageous

Outstanding Telephone Manner

Excellent command of the English language

Solid English verbal and written communication skills

Able to work occasional weekends and holidays


Key Performance Objectives:
To ensure that guests receive an exceptional guest experience that goes beyond their expectations within the guidelines of the Hotel standards

To ensure harmonious relationships exist with other departments, suppliers and international sales managers by maintaining clear and prompt communication between all parties; and ensuring that all correspondence with clients reflects the professionalism of the company standard and enhances the relationships with key suppliers .

To ensure that reservations are made and updated accurately, efficiently and comprehensively in accordance with the Hotel standards.

To ensure that all reservations related administration and reporting is completed timeously ensuring accuracy and precision in accordance with SOP
