Regional Sales Manager (JHB) (HLR6653)
With almost 50 years in the FMCG market, this leading food manufacturer based in the heart of the KZN Midlands, delivers numerous well-known brands to the South African and African markets.
A Regional Sales Manager is required for the Gauteng region to actively develop and implement the Groupβs strategic sales and customer goals.
Compete all sales tasks according to the Groupβs sales and customer strategies
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to determine budgets and ensure that targets are met in accordance with best practices
Complete weekly sales reports and monthly national/regional reports to assess and mitigate any shortfalls
Enforce company pricing policies and mandates
Manage the conclusion of customer (TTA) by 30 November of each trading year
Coordinate communication to support sales plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements
Manage ad-hoc expenditure in accordance with regional customer budgets
Collaborate with marketing to execute route-to-market, shopper and POP strategies
Develop and manage the regional sales teams to ensure successful regional sales and marketing initiatives.
The management and development of Key Customer Trading relations (Top 50/region)
Execute demand mechanism (ATL/BTL) strategies and interventions
Relevant degree or diploma
5 β 10 years in a similar role and industry
Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
Highly numerate
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
Management Skills able to lead a team of at least 10 people
