RECEPTIONIST
We are looking for an efficient and proactive Receptionist, who are enthusiastic about providing exceptional service to clients and delivering an extraordinary first impression.
The main purpose of the position is to provide a professional and comprehensive front desk reception service and daily office administrative support function.
This position is ideal for a well-spoken entry level person who has a Matric and/or tertiary qualification in Office Management.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
1 โ 2 Yearsโ experience as Receptionist
Matric with Computer Applications Technology (CAT) as a subject
Previous experience in the Property Development Industry would be advantageous
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
Professional in manner, dress and communication
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Project, MS Word, Excel, Outlook),
Read, write, speak in English fluently
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be helpful and polite
Must be prepared to deal with stressful situations and have the ability to handle pressure
Ability to handle a number of tasks at one time
Be able to work accurately
Articulate and able to communicate on all levels โ face to face, telephonically and e-mail
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office
Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable
Taking minutes during meetings
Data Capturing
Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying etc
Assisting the Administrative Manager with routine facilities and office management.
GENERAL:
Own transport & valid unendorsed driversโ licence
Clear criminal record
Good contactable references
Flexible working hours โ willingness and ability to accommodate extended working hours to meet deadlines, etc.
