As a Receptionist, the candidate will be the first point of contact for the company. The candidate
should have a pleasant personality who will welcome guests and greet people who visit the business
as this is also a customer service role. This role requires working in shifts (8-5pm or 7-4pm
respectively).Ultimately, a Receptionistβs duties and responsibilities are to ensure the front desk
welcomes guests positively, and executes all administrative tasks to the highest quality standards.
Primary Role Accountabilities: ο·
Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office ο·

Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls ο·
Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable ο·
Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email ο·
Receive, sort and distribute daily mail/deliveries ο·
Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the
reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges) ο·
Manage the requirements for boardroom bookings
Critical Requirements - Skills, Experience & Qualifications: ο·
Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role ο·
Hands-on experience with office equipment ο·
Professional attitude and appearance ο·
Solid written and verbal communication skills ο·
Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise ο·
Customer service attitude ο·
Matric Certification with English as a subject is mandatory β both written and spoken to be
exceptional
