Job Summary

To facilitate admissions process by applying the Organizations protocols.


Key Performance Areas/Key Responsible Areas

Review/Evaluate Clinical documents prior to the claim.

Accept or decline according to business protocol.

Communicate with Hospitals, nurses, physicians and other Healthcare Providers.

Provide product information in line with standard procedures

Required Qualifications

Matric


Desirable Qualifications

Certificate in counseling/ Psychology.

Qualification recognized for HPCSA/SANC registration.


Required Experience

Clinical experience in the practice of diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disease.


Desired Experience

Computer Aided Dispatch System.

Healthcare industry experience.

Primary Health Care Experience.


Required Knowledge and Skills

Clinical evaluation of signs and symptoms and appropriate prescribing.

Verbal and written communication skills.

Listening skills.

Attention to detail.

Organizing and Time-management.

Computer literacy.

Stress tolerance.

Working knowledge of basic medical and emergency care terminology.
