We are Southern Africaβs fastest growing black-empowered electrical wholesaler. Employing over 650 staff members, ARB provides a wide range of internationally recognized and SABS approved products across three main categories β power and instrumentation cable, overhead line equipment and conductors, general low voltage products (including lighting).
We are looking for a team player with at least 3 years in a similar role to support the Finance Team. Must be resilient, highly organized and able to multitask. Exceptional Excel skills, ability to track and able to deal with a strong team will secure!
Key Performance Areas include the following:
- Full administrative support for the Divisional Director Finance and Financial Manager
- Coordinating DDF and FMβs telephone (answering calls, receiving messages, channeling information and setting up conference calls)
- Organizing meetings including preparing agendas/documents and other arrangements
- Diary management
- Performing general office duties such as photocopying, filing and retrieving corporate documents.
- Editing, organizing and preparing reports, memos, letters, and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, and database software
- Meet and greet visitors at all levels of seniority and to provide refreshments as and when required
- Performing host duties for the DDF including tea and coffee making, obtaining gifts and other items
- Processing and filing of price difference credits and various sundry direct invoices on accounting
- Generate and maintain purchase orders on the accounting system
- Administration of national traffic fines for ARB Group (payment, filing, and scheduling for deductions from payroll)
- Acknowledgment of driver debt documents for ARB Group
- National insurance claim administration and filing (liaise with insurance, panel beaters and staff from point of the claim until completion of such for ARB Group)
- Administration of all female corporate uniform profiles, orders and distribution
- Administration of staff parking
- Relief switchboard operator during breaks and assist with overflow calls
- Planning, organizing and managing events when needed.
- Handle all confidential documents and maintain strict confidentiality
- Undertake any other duties which are consistent with the basic objectives and/or duties of the post
- Creating of Xact Orders Monthly
- Creating Marketing Invoicing β Monthly
- Branch Structure Report
- Consolidated report
- Creating of Fedex Orders Monthly
- Nedbank & Investec banking forms
- Filing of monthly journals for the whole finance department
- Grade 12 with a pass in Maths
- Previous finance experience would be advantages
- Exceptional administration & organizational skills
- High knowledge of Microsoft Office β Work, Outlook , Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Minimum 3 years in a similar role
