To ensure that the delivery of the service promise as contained in the Transnet Port Terminals Customer Service Plan is met.
To proactively research customer intelligence and providing an analysis and assessment service for information required by
Key Accounts Managers.

1. Maximise customer service in the business unit by managing customer service execution interface on a day to day
basis.
2. Manage terminal service performance on behalf of customers through SLA process.
3. Custodian for customer service Dashboard/KPI at the business unit.
4. Facilitate relationship building with all key internal stakeholders (internal capabilities).
5. Support customer service initiatives.
6. Account for management of key and ad hoc customers.
7. Initiative and execute customer centric processes and improvements in the Terminal.
Qualifications & Experience :
Degree / National Diploma in Marketing
2 years customer service experience
Code EB/08 driverβs licence
Competencies :
Competencies Required:
Experience and knowledge of terminal operations
Extensive knowledge of after sales processes
Problem solving, including analysing and follow-up skills
Ability to pay attention to detail from a service delivery perspective Computer literate (MS Office)
Knowledge required:
Computer literate (MS Office and SAP modules)
Understanding of Commercial contracts Standard operating procedures for each sector TPT tariffs
Ability to communicate effectively with all Customers and internal stakeholders
Professional and courteous
Skills Required:
Report writing and presentation skills Research skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to command respect from both
Customers and colleagues
