External Sales Representative

Purpose of the position:
To assist KBC with the growth and development of new and existing clients within the specified region.
Key performance areas:
· Developing and driving sales in the KZN region
· Must achieve set targets
· New Business Development and Customer Relationship Management
· Provide market intelligence & finding new business opportunities
· Client profiling
· Geographical sales mapping
· Ensure company and legal compliance into the business
· Daily, Weekly, Monthly Reporting etc.
Minimum Requirements:
Matric, coupled with a Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Sales or Marketing
Language proficiency in English, Zulu and Afrikaans is required
Technical aptitude highly recommended
Must have at least 3-5 years’ experience in the safety industry
Proven sales track record, trade references & recommendations
Must be willing to travel
Driver’s license and own transport
Skills Required:
Excellent negotiation & presentation skills
Excellent customer relationship management
Must be able to work unsupervised & independently
Well-spoken with excellent communication skills
Organisational and planning skills
Ability to multi-task under pressure
Reporting skills
