Internal Plumbing Sales Person

Job purpose

Sell Wardkiss plumbing products to existing and potential Plumbers, Building Contractors and DIY customers with an obsession on meeting customer needs and exemplary customer service in order to achieve Wardkiss' sales and gross margin targets. Establish and maintain excellent long term relationships with all customers.

Duties and responsibilities

Provide a customer service by greeting and assisting customers and responding positively to customer inquiries
Present and sell company plumbing and other products to current and potential clients.
Prepare quotes and identify specific targets to increase sales and profit margin.
Follow up on new leads and referrals.
Identify current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand service requirements.
Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned.
Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge in particular the Plumbing & Sanitary ware full range of products
Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.

Identify and resolve client concerns.
Communicate new plumbing products, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through sales intelligence received or gathered.
Keep management informed of plumbing sales trends, pricing and market information.
Develop and implement special sales activities to reduce stock, as guided.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Knowledge & Skills

Ideally you are a qualified & certified Plumber with sales flair
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
Full knowledge of Plumbing products and accessories
Ability to persuade and influence others. Ability to develop and deliver presentations. Ability to create, compose and edit written materials. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
Visibility requires maintaining a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.
Working conditions

The job may from time to time require working outside of normal working hours and/or extended hours and may cover a range of circumstances from occasional evening and regular weekend work and working with challenging clients.
