General Manager: Sales (Senior Role)

Position Synopsis:
The General Manager: Sales, will lead, inspire and engage with the team in delivering industry leading service through business KPIβs to increase the profitability of the business, whilst remaining committed to treating customers fairly.
The General manager will also determine and implement business plans and objectives in line with the contact centre strategy and ensure operations are delivered profitably, in excess of financial plans and within the financial budget.
Job Description:
Recruiting, retaining, managing and motivating and developing a team of Senior Group Managers and Group Managers.
Lead all operational functions within department/business unit and Demonstrate Company Values.
Managing and growing new business opportunities via your established networks/contacts within the regionβs area of responsibility
Take overall responsibility for telesales operations and all other business units in the Durban sites.
Manage the revenues and costs of the Durban operation
Liaise with sales team., data providers and product managers to optimise conversion rates.
Candidate Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12
Tertiary qualification is advantageous
Minimum 5-8 years experience as a Contact Centre Manager
Thorough knowledge of Contact Centre Technology
MS Office at an advanced level
N.B. This is a Senior Management role and only candidates who have the desired 5-8 years experience as a Contact Centre Manager, preferably in a Sales Contact Centre, will be considered and contacted.
