GENERAL FACILITIES ADMINISTRATOR

We are offering an excellent opportunity for a Facilities Administrator to support our operations in South Africa where we provide Integrated Facilities Management services. The requirements will include:
§ Ensure that the administrative and record keeping of the day to day functions of FM systems are maintained and updated
§ Provide fast effective and efficient communication channels with all departments interacting with the FM department
§ Efficiently manages time, meeting deadlines and completes all tasks assigned by the supervising authority.
§ Sorts or classify information according to guidelines such as content, purpose, user criteria, or chronological, alphabetical, or numerical order
§ Updates of all log books, filing and records.
§ Ensures that all HR documents for staff are filled in correctly, sick and leave forms are to be approved by and signed for by the HOD first, then submitted to the payroll offices.
§ Does Weekly and Monthly bookwork for all relevant services and sites
§ Grade 12 as a minimum and at least 2 year’s work experience in FM environment
§ Or work experience of at least 4 years
§ Administrative certificate or diploma or Degree, will be advantage
§ Good oral and written communication skills
§ Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team, ability to work under pressure
§ Excellent knowledge of standard software tools (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
§ Flexible, adaptable to changes but with strong focus on deadlines
§ Be sensitive and understanding towards cultural diversities
§ Ability to learn and acquire new skills and ideas
§ Must be well spoken (clear & understandable) and fluent in English.
§ Must be able to communicate with clients (written & oral)
