Job Summary: Responsible for the cultivation and care of the landscaping and grounds surrounding a guest house. Plants flowers, mows, pulls weeds, repairs structures, and maintains outside of building.

Primary responsibilities outside:

Perform grounds keeping and building maintenance duties.
Mowing of lawn
Trim and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls.
Landscape by planting flowers, grass & shrubs.
Apply pesticides where necessary
Apply fertilizer to ground to enhance growth.
Perform routine maintenance duties such as applying plaster, fixing fountains, and other duties.
Sweep walkway of debris.
Cut down branches of trees/shrubs where necessary
Trim shrubs and pull weeds.

Perform minor repairs and maintenance procedures on equipment utilized in grounds keeping.
Rake, and prune the grounds as needed.
Water plants and grass as needed and apply fertilizer.
Primary responsibilities inside of guest house:

Help with hanging of linen on washing lines
help with sweeping, dusting and cleaning of all public areas
help with cleaning of drains on weekly basis
help with cleaning of gutters
general painting
help with luggage of guests
help to move furniture when necessary for cleaning or conferences
help to move outside furniture, put up/down of umbrellas
watering of pots inside and outside
help with washing of floors
