As a BMW Parts Picker / Packer you’ll be at the forefront of the automotive industry.

Working in our state of the art premises you will be reporting to the Parts Manager, primarily responsible for the accurate organising of all parts stock within the Parts store and maintaining an exceptional standard of customer care.

Key Performance Areas:

Responsible for binning all parts stock

Review all parts order information, submitted by Parts sales Executive
Receive daily parts stock as per invoice (priority given to special order parts)
Ensure received parts stock is not damaged
If part is not available from BMW SA and is cash/motor plan related, part will be located at other dealer
Ensure parts are correctly binned against accurate bin location
Create bins for new parts onto system

Verify binned parts against bin location
Responsible for accurate picking of parts

Ensure invoice for relevant part is obtained
Ensure correct part is picked from parts bin as per parts requisition
Ensure correct part is submitted to dispatch area
Control RFC’s (return for credit) and core

Accurately document all parts (not needed) in RFC book
Ensure accurate demand of part to identify if not a stocking part
Identify reason why part is returned to BMW SA for credit
Relay information to parts sales executive / Parts manager
Assist in stock take

Receive perpetual stock documentation from administrator
Assist with accurate stock count against stock register
Ensure no parts stock are damaged
Ensure all damaged parts stock are removed and adhered to
Supply documentation to store man for stock count
If needed assist in stock adjustments
Identify any parts stock irregularities

Ensure no damage to parts stock occurs during packing/picking of parts and stock take
Ensure a high security awareness upon parts stock entering and leaving the Parts Store
Notify Parts Manager of any potential security risk
Maintain good housekeeping within parts store

Ensure neat and tidy work space at all times
Ensure all stock is organised accurately within store room
