A very big FMCG company is opening a new Distribution Center in Johannesburg North. They are looking for the services of an experienced Distribution Manager
Work closely with Head of Department to manage controllable expenses
Work with Transport Planning manager to ensure WMS is functional and assisting in service delivery
Overall responsibility for day to day running of an efficient DC
Manage equipment mainetance
Manage communication to stores and Head Office
Management of KPI's
Maintain warehousing policies and procedures
Ensure Health & Safety audits are in place and being done
Ensure Pallets are manage and understand CHEP process
Staff Management
Manage shirkage at the DC
+- 10 years Warehousing / Distribution experience
Diploma / Degree within the industry

Knowledge of WMS System
Microsoft Office working knowledge
