Job Description

This is an exciting independant role where the candidate needs to demonstrate excelent abilities to be able to drive the social media and digital marketing requirements of the business. Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done.

Brand.com & Community management:

Direct social media support to the Regional Marketing & Communications Manager – Africa and Regional DOSM

Formulate and implement social media strategies and actions plans. This is inclusive of actively managing the social media channels such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Use of tools like Spredfast and MH Flow to manage multiple social media channels with support from the Regional Marketing & Communications Manager.

Manage and facilitate social media communities by responding to social media posts and developing discussions.

Monitoring of content for brand.com website, TripAdvisor & OTA's

Social Media Content Creation:

Execute and create social media campaigns and always-on content.

Reporting:

Participating in and recording media engagements and building the internal media database

Monitor and report on performance on digital activities/social media platforms using tools such as Spredfast and Google Analytics, in local and international online media.

Qualifications

Experience: 2-5 years in digital marketing & commerce of consumer products
Successful track record in digital commercialization and at least one of the areas of responsibility mentioned above established in fast growth product companies, or in digital agencies
Creative thinker and entrepreneurial/growth-oriented problem-solver.
