Debtors Agent will be responsible for keep records on amounts owed by customers and amounts paid.
Job description includes, but not limited to: -
Processing immediate collection on Credit Cards
Updating of Customers Banking Details.
Updating Dates on Debit orders
Updating of Customers Credit Card Details

Updating of Customers Personal Details
Changing of Ownerships on accounts
Sending Invoices and Statements to Customers on Requests
Investigations and SOFโs (Summary of Facts) for Credit Requests
Assist Debtors with Un-suspending accounts for Irate phone in customers
Assist customers with Billing Queries
Forwarding Out of Bundle usage reports to Customers upon request
General Account queries
Retain Customers on Cancellations received where possible
Process cancellations accordingly
Answering telephone calls timeously
Minimum requirements
Grade 12
Computer literate โ Outlook, Word, Excel โ able to perform basic to intermediate excel functions ie, sum, sort, filter, vlookup, pivot
Previous Experience in a TELCO industry
Customer service experience
3rd Language (Xhosa, Sotho, Zulu etc) an advantage
Knowledge and skills
Excellent communication skills (Verbal and written)
Good telephone etiquette (Assertive, yet diplomatic)
Strong negotiation skills
Deliver results and meet customer expectations
Adapt and respond to change
Work as part of the team
Maintain a high level of accuracy when preparing information
Work under pressure & cope with setbacks
