Experienced Credit Controller required to join FMCG/ Manufacturing concern. The ideal candidate will use their initiative, work under minimal supervision and, be deadline and target driven with 5 years credit control/ Debtors experience
Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Administration of the Client Database, keeping client data up to date and maintaining a record of individual debtor contact details and payment history.

Investigating and approving new clients through credit bureaus and other means available.

Maintaining information on client credit worthiness, adjusting credit limits, and advising management and sales on risky clients.

Maintaining a good relationship with clients, and ensuring all payments of outstanding monies are made on time, to ensure the collection period for debtors’ remains within target set from time to time.

Resolution of all client queries within required guidelines, to ensure that the receivables are accurate and that no reason can be given for non-payment by clients.

Accurately allocate all payments received from clients.

Reconcile all client accounts on a monthly basis.

Requirements:

Matric

Credit Management 1-3

Accounting qualification will be advantages

Previously worked on a monthly BV of R15 million +

5 years Credit Management experience

Advanced Excel

Knowledge of an accounting package (preferably kerrige)

Able and willing to work Overtime
