About the Position

Business to Client (B2C) Outbound Call Centre Sales Executive

IT / FinancialMy client based in Cape Town (Cape Winelands) is currently looking for a Business to Client (B2C) Outbound Call Centre Sales Executive to join them on a permanent basis

IT

To identify public and individual sales opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options. Selling Class of Business and CPD product offerings by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions

Tasks

Development of Sales and Customer service strategies, policies and procedures
Develop and implementation of operating plans

Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and risk controls
Achieve Sales and Targets and effective management thereof
Management of relationships and SLA's
Set performance standards with performance measurements
Seek for continuously improvement in business processes, products and technology
Qualifications and experience

A Bachelor's degree in Commerce or Arts (or anything similar) - preference will be given to a post graduate qualification
3 years' experience in an Outbound Call Centre Sales
3 years' Sales experience as a Call Centre Team Manager in an Academic/Insurance/Financial organization
A proven sales success record
Higher Education experience
Good knowledge of Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
FSCA Regulatory knowledge
Proof of RE1 (Advantageous) and RE5 (Essential)
Competencies

Highly Computer literate: proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, internet and data entry
Good social and corporate network in SA
Effective Communicating and Interpersonal skills
Numeracy skills
Passion for selling
Results-driven
Ability to show initiative in developing the role and to work with minimal supervision
Emotional Intelligence
