CipherWave, a Johannesburg based Cloud and Internet Service Provider, is looking for a Business Solutions Consultant with a strong understanding of the Information Technology (IT), Internet Service Provider (ISP) and Telecommunications industry, along with a solid foundation in the ISP, IT and Information Communications Technology (ICT) sales environment, to join their team. This person must have a strong client engagement ability and strong communication skills, with a minimum of three yearsโ experience in the Information Technology industry and specifically from a business consultancy environment. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop and implement plans and tactics across 3 key dimensions:
New customer engagement
New business development
Overall managing of the sales pipeline process and administration
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Prospect for potential new customers through making cold calls, canvasing and through any other means to engage and meet with new prospects
Engage with prospects and take them through the sales cycle until the point where the business is won
Active lead generation and qualification process as well as overall Sales Pipeline Management to execute the sale
Provide analysis, advice and solutions for organisations that need to develop or improve their connectivity, communication, storage data or software systems
Prepare proposals and presentations to clients
Initiate sales plans and coordinate actions/ tactics to influence the market
Identify marketing opportunities by understanding organization IT business requirements
Proactively develop and improve products and services with the Managing Director and Technical team
Monitor market intelligence within the industry in terms of product development, new projects, competitive activity, new customers, etc.
Researching new types of business/ products/ services with an emphasis on identifying gaps (existing and/ or expected) in the mitigation of needs of potential clients (existing and/ or new ones) in order to attract new customers, penetrate existing markets, create new markets
Understand the companyโs goal and mission and to continually strive and reach KPIs and sales targets as set out by the company/ management and the Sales Team Leader

EXPERIENCE AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge of Microsoft business solutions
